If you love a touch of paradise mixed with a dash of nostalgia, you’d have been right at home at the blessing and unveiling of the new swimming pool event at Oakridge Residential Estate in Magamot, Davao City. Held on October 28, 2023, during a mesmerizing sunset in the heart of this beautiful subdivision, the event was nothing short of spectacular.
Toshi Tim Land’s Hawaiian Paradise Toshi Tim Land, Inc., the innovative developer behind Oakridge Residential Estate, transformed the amenity area into a Hawaiian paradise. As licensed real estate brokers from HT Realty, my husband Mark and I, along with a handful of our agents, were thrilled to be part of this event.
The evening kicked off with an inspiring speech from none other than Toshi Tim Land’s Stockholder Mr. Takasuki Ono, who traveled all the way from Japan to be present at the event. Mr. Ono expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support of the salesforce, which played a pivotal role in the success of this subdivision project. For a first-time developer, the achievement was nothing short of remarkable.
Aside from Mr. Ono, we had the pleasure of meeting the co-founders of the company, CEO Mr. Romualdo Dela Peña, and the company’s treasurer Mrs. Marla Dela Peña, who radiated pride and joy for their creation, Oakridge Residential Estate.
Among the important guests are Mr. Alex Go, a dear family friend of the owners, and Raymund Apurada, the project’s Geodetic Engineer, who played a vital role in bringing the subdivision to life. Also gracing the evening was Mr. Nuzar Balatero, retired BIR Director of Region II.
Serenaded by Nostalgia As the sun dipped below the horizon, the atmosphere became electric. Acoustic solo singer Darel and the band Pause and Play took the stage, treating guests to a trip down memory lane with 90s hits that had everyone swaying and singing along. Pause and Play even dedicated a soulful Japanese song to Mr. Ono, adding a unique touch to the evening.
